STARS IN ALLIGNMENT
For those of us New Jerseyans involved in the battle for parental choice in education, it now appears Divine Providence is bringing our stars into alignment. It remains only for us to place our fingers to the task.
1. An extraordinarily powerful political movement is on the move, determined to restore our nation to its founding principles of limited, constitutional government.
2. Voters have come to recognize that the prime responsibility for failed education, cost overruns and governments at the verge of bankruptcy rests with the public-employee-unelected-unions.
3. For the first time since the late, great free-enterprise champion Milton Friedman first proposed his plan for school vouchers in 1955, New Jersey's Assemblyman Tony Bucco has drafted legislation to implement his plan statewide, mandating equitable educational funding for every child.
4. New Jersey will hold a Primary and General Election this year for all 80 Assembly and 40 Senate seats, providing the opportunity to elect those who support individual liberty, such as parental choice in education.
5. For the first time in the history of our nation, citizen groups from all across the USA have joined in designating January 23 to 29 as National School Choice Week.
6. Electronic media now makes it possible for every voter to help make the world a better place with just the click of a mouse.
Please keep us informed of developments, and feel free to blog with your thoughts on this important battle.

You can help promote parental choice in education by contacting your state representatives and asking them whether they support it. If so, send them a copy of our proposed New Jersey Parental Rights Program Act. If you reside in New Jersey, ask them to cosponsor the bill with Assemblyman Tony Bucco (LD-25). If you reside in another state, ask them to adopt the bill to your state.
If your representatives do not support school choice, it's time to look for candidates who do. To regain our liberty, we need to liberate our children.
